About Us
Anakuro.com is an anthropomorphic webcomic by Stacie (Ana) Pasman and George (Kuro) Takahashi
that launched on July 7th, 2008. Based loosely on the real-life relationship and experiences of
its creators, Anakuro tells the story of the unlikely cat and dog couple Ana and Kuro.
Born in Osaka, Japan as Jou-Ji, George spent his infancy in Japan and moved to Spain at the age of 7. After living for 4 years in the capital and another 4 years in Almeria, George moved to the USA to obtain a better education and pursue a career in mechanics with an interest in the US army. Not long after enrollling in a US high school, George decided instead to pursue a career in computer graphics and the gaming industry. He currently works at a graphics visualization company with Purdue University and explores new methods of data representation and rendering technologies.
